For our central reservations team of Corendon Hotels & Resorts, responsible for several hotels in Amsterdam, we are looking for a new colleague.
As a Reservations Agent you are responsible for processing reservations of our guests. You are in direct contact with guests via telephone, e-mail and other communication channels. The reservations team works for the Corendon Amsterdam New-West Hotel (263 rooms) and the Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel (680 rooms), both of which operate as franchise hotels under the Marriott International label. Your main tasks include:
• Answering questions from guests about availability and prices
• Confirming reservations and providing relevant information to guests
• Updating and maintaining reservation data in our system
• Ensuring correct administrative processing of all reservations
• Maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction through professional and friendly service
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Resolving any problems and complaints regarding reservations
Job requirements
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Experience in the hospitality sector is a plus
• Hospitable attitude and a positive demeanor
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and set priorities
• Good computer skills, knowledge of the PMS system Opera is a plus
• Strong communication and administrative skills
