Assistant HR Manager at Corendon Hotels & Resorts Curacao!
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Human Resources Manager to support the HR department in delivering high-quality service within a dynamic hospitality environment. This role is responsible for assisting in the implementation of HR strategies, ensuring compliance with employment laws, supporting recruitment and employee relations, and maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about people, have strong knowledge of HR functions within the hospitality sector, and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven setting.
Assist the Head of HR with the daily HR operations.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies.
Handle employee inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution in a professional and confidential manner.
Act as a liaison between HR and department managers to support workforce planning, resolve staff issues, and promote HR best practices.
Support departmental heads in disciplinary actions, and employee development discussions.
Guide the team with maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS and ensure data accuracy.
Support payroll processing and benefits administration in coordination with payroll teams.
Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics.
Participate in audits and ensure HR documentation is complete and compliant.

Job Requirements for Assistant HR Manager at Corendon Hotels & Resorts Curaçao
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Hospitality Management
Minimum of 3 years experience in an all-round HR position, preferably in the Hospitality Industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Proven experience in recruitment and employee relations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Prior experience with AFAS and/or Nostradamus is a pre
Fluent in both English and Dutch spoken as well as written, Papiamentu and Spanish is a pre
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
