Steward - Kitchen Department

The Ritz Curacaco is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Steward to join our Kitchen Department. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Assist in the preparation and setup of food stations
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling
• Stock and replenish supplies as needed
• Support the kitchen team in various tasks as required

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
