
Job description
Support in overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping department
Plan, organize, and monitor staff workload to maintain cleanliness and quality standards
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure proper maintenance
Assist in training, guiding, and coaching housekeeping staff to improve skills and performance
Ensure all housekeeping procedures, hygiene rules, and safety guidelines are followed
Communicate clearly with team members, managers, and other departments to resolve issues quickly
Handle guest concerns professionally and take action to maintain high satisfaction levels
Monitor inventory of supplies, equipment, and linen, and report needs promptly
Coordinate with maintenance on repairs, furniture condition, and preventative upkeep
Perform additional duties as required to support smooth departmental operations
Job requirements
Previous experience in housekeeping, including supervisory responsibilities
Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate a team
Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and HACCP guidelines
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
Basic computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Verbal and written communication skills in English
