Job description

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced HR Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations across our four resorts in Curaçao. Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Manager leads a dedicated HR team and supports resort leadership with practical, people-focused HR solutions in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead, coordinate, and support the HR team.

·       Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring effective delivery of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and HR administration.

·       Act as the senior HR point of contact for management, providing guidance on operational people matters.

·       Supervise employee relations processes, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution, in collaboration with the HR team.

·       Provide direction and oversight to recruitment activities, ensuring staffing aligns with operational and seasonal needs.

·       Ensure compliance with Curaçao labor laws, company policies, and internal procedures across all properties.

·       Monitor HR administration and employee records to ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.

·       Oversee training and development initiatives in partnership with the Training Officer to support service quality and operational performance.

·       Work closely with the Head of HR to implement HR initiatives consistently across the organization.

Job requirements

Profile

·       Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

·       Minimum of 5 years’ HR experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-site operations.

·       Proven experience leading and coordinating an HR team.

·       Strong working knowledge of Curaçao labor laws and HR operational processes.

·       Fluency in Dutch, English, and Papiamentu is required.

·       Hands-on, approachable, and comfortable supporting operational leaders and employees.

·       Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·       Ability to manage priorities across multiple resort locations in a dynamic environment.
