Job description

  • Design and implement hygienic kitchen layouts to prevent cross-contamination

  • Monitor food handling, storage, and preparation processes

  • Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations

  • Conduct regular hygiene audits and risk assessments

  • Develop and enforce sanitation procedures and cleaning schedules

  • Inspect equipment and ensure it meets hygiene and safety standards

  • Train kitchen staff on food safety practices and hygiene protocols

  • Investigate contamination incidents and recommend corrective actions

  • Collaborate with chefs, management, and quality control teams

  • Maintain documentation for inspections, audits, and compliance reports

Job requirements

  • Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, hygiene codes, and applicable food safety legislation.

  • Proficient in digital registration tools; experience with app-based HACCP systems and Bluetooth temperature monitoring is an asset.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple compliance tasks simultaneously.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for training and reporting purposes.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into operational improvements.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
