Job description

  • Assist the chefs in preparing ingredients and cooking meals according to the established recipes and standards

  • Ensure that all food items are stored properly and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations

  • Follow all health and safety regulations to provide a safe working environment

  • Contribute to the overall success of the kitchen department by maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation

Job requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Commis or in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment.

  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as required.

  • Positive attitude and a passion for delivering high-quality food to our guests.
