Job description

Livingstone by Sonesta at Jan Thiel is seeking a dedicated Commis to join our team in the Kitchen department. As a Commis, you will work closely with our culinary team to prepare and present high-quality dishes for our guests.

  • Assist in the preparation of menu items according to recipes and standards

  • Ensure food quality and presentation meets our guests' expectations

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional dining experiences


Job requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
